Carelessly using a forklift usually leads to forklift mishaps. This occurs when the operator of the forklift is not properly trained in safety procedures. Anybody operating a forklift needs to utilize caution to reduce the risk of accidents and to be able to prevent possible dangers.

Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't trained to use the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a visible place all forklift safety procedures.



Workers must have a positive attitude when they go through training, instead of doing it just because they are required to. You as the employer should help workers understand the significance of proper training. Let them understand that they could injure or kill not only themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that all your employees undertake training seriously.
