Kinds

Clark manufactures a range of forklift trucks including cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks. The different models vary when it comes to the way they operate. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle types designed to be utilized within warehouses and different other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.



Lifting Capacity

The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies according to the kind. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC types are recommended. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.



Engine

AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are utilized to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC types have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.



Frame/Cab

The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the seat and the controls. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
