Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck providing great height and versatility. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to lift the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular lift trucks could not move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is necessary.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It comes with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would normally utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed particularly to hoist personnel. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
