Telescoping Boom Lifts

Telescopic booms are big industrial machines designed with a straight boom arm that is extendable. The boom is normally located on a rotating turntable. The telescoping boom lifts are normally used for jobs which require tasks to be done at heights which exceed other types of lifts. With scissor lifts, all-terrain capability is less of an issue with these models, because they should sit on flat ground in order to be used. Scissor lifts are ideal for being used for window installation or cladding, because they provide the employees with the desired mobility; they are also a good option for window cleaning applications or exterior repairs.



Boom Trucks vs. Cranes

The boom truck or cherry picker refers to the utility vehicle usually utilized to raise personnel for various tasks performed at heights. Usually, these trucks have a cab. It is here where the operator sits and operates the equipment. There is a bucket for where the employee could stand along with a winch for lifting and an actuator arm for raising the boom.
