Kaldnes utilizes their high precision hydrostatic drive train into their 10 to 18 ton material handlers. This specific drive train does not require a clutch, gearbox, conventional or differential brakes. The modular design makes this an extremely compact truck renowned for both versatility and maneuverability. Features, such as spacious, cushioned cab, panoramic mast and a functional, intuitive control layout, make the driver's environment really comfortable. A wrap-around front screen offers unsurpassed visibility. These trucks are really adaptable and rugged, capable of handling loads which are both palletized and palletless. Moreover, they are designed for empty container handling. This truck is suitable for various applications in heavy industry.



To allow optimal through-mast visibility to the fork tip and load, the cabin is situated in a forward position. This ensures the optimal degree of load control and maneuverability in confined areas. To ensure optimal visibility around the machine from the operator position, there are broad glass panels to the sides, top and rear and a curved widescreen providing uninterrupted visibility.



The mid-heavy trucks in the 18-32 ton range all have 3-speed automatic transmissions powered by high torque diesel engines. Trucks in this range offer precision control of travel and load handling cycles for lots of different tasks. The modular design makes this a really compact truck with a lot of versatility and maneuverability.
